Your list data stays in your browser

Smart List Compare processes pasted values, imported files, comparisons, and exports locally on your device. List contents are not uploaded to or stored by an application server.

Local processing

TXT, CSV, TSV, and XLSX files are read by JavaScript in your browser. The comparison engine uses browser memory for the current page session. Closing or refreshing the page clears that working data. Your theme preference may be saved in local storage; list contents are not.

Hosting and basic logs

The static site host may receive standard request information, such as an IP address, user agent, requested URL, and timestamp, when it serves site files. These requests do not include the contents entered into the comparison tool.

Advertising

Smart List Compare may use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, local storage, device information, IP addresses, and similar technologies to deliver, personalize, measure, and protect advertising where permitted by applicable law and your consent choices.

Advertising services do not receive the lists, files, comparison values, or exported data you process with Smart List Compare. Your comparison data remains in your browser and is not intentionally included in advertising requests or events.

Your choices

You can use the comparison tool without creating an account. Do not paste information that you are not authorized to process on your device.
